What can you say about this cardigan, it’s stunning, it’s hemp, you want it. The buttons are black on all versions wooden, even though our former plastic buttons were Oeko-tex certified before we just wanted to go the extra mile. The Avalon is size appropriate, but our web gal Amanda likes fully giant slouch and so sized up. It’s a great finishing piece for the long tunic dresses…
Why did we make this long slouchy cardigan in hemp and organic cotton?
Because hemp is the fabric the earth needs right now. It’s not our namesake for nothing! We love our hemp knits, it took us years to find a factory, and fabric that would do what we wanted it to do, and we are still developing new fabrics all the time! Since our inception we have continued to explore and experiment with sustainable fabrics like Hemp, Organic Cotton, Bamboo, and Soy (among others). All Nomads Hemp Wear clothing is also certified Fair Trade.
